Havana Manor is pleased to launch the newest cigar in the My Father line, The Judge.
According to José “The Hurricane” Ortega, vice president of sales for My Father, the name was inspired by a friend of the Garcia family who is a judge. The Judge, he says, is more full bodied than the original My Father. It is rolled with a light-brown, Sumatra-seed wrapper from Ecuador, Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo binders, and filler tobaccos that were cultivated from three of the Garcias family’s farms located in Nicaragua.
Accompanying The Judge, will be the release of the Flor de las Antillas Maduro, the follow up to the 2012 Cigar of the Year the Flor de las Antillas.
Ortega said that the blend for Flor de las Antillas Maduro is similar to its predecessor, save for a few tweaks. The Maduro version shares the same Nicaraguan double binder and filler as the original, but the Garcia family slightly altered the blend to accommodate the darker, Ecuadoran Habano wrapper.
Both of these new releases will be featured at the event along with all your favorite My Father Cigar lines including the original Flor de las Antillas.
